The Sumner Arts Festival is a home grown festival that is more than 36 years old. It’s a festival of not only artwork by talented local and regional artists but also entertainment and a great selection of local foods.

The festival is held on the first full weekend of August in downtown Sumner, Washington. It runs from 10:00am to 9:00pm on Friday and from 10:00am to 7:00pm on Saturday.

At the Sumner Arts Festival all artists must produce all of their own artwork. There are no mass-produced items allowed. This means the artwork at the festival is quality, handcrafted items that are unique in design.

Besides the events the Festival provides, the merchants in downtown Sumner have many great stores for everyone to shop.
